If you are a cancer patient who needs help with expenses or know someone who does, the Hatteras Island Cancer Foundation is ready to help.

Patients must fill out an application form to receive a grant. The application and travel expense forms are available at HealthEast Family Care centers in Avon and Hatteras and at Beach Pharmacy in Avon and Hatteras or download the forms here.  

The forms can be returned to the foundation, Post Office Box 442, Hatteras, NC 27943 or to board member Bobbie Adams at HealthEast in Avon or Hatteras.

All application information is reviewed by the board’s two-person grant committee and is held in the strictest confidence.
